Meyer’s Receives Hormel’s “Spirit Of Excellence” Award For 2007

Meyers has once again been awarded the prestigious supplier award, “2007 Spirit Of Excellence”, by Hormel Foods Corporation. Presented annually since 1991 this is the 11th time that Meyers has won the award. The “Spirit Of Excellence Award” recognizes Hormel suppliers who have attained service standards of excellence, who have assisted Hormel in their quest to maintain superior customer satisfaction and who have joined with Hormel in their goal of “Doing It Right The First Time”.

Hormel grades all of their suppliers in order to select recipients of the award and this year Meyers placed fourth of all suppliers evaluated, and first in our category of suppliers. Beginning in 1996 Hormel has also given out the “Number One” award to suppliers who have previously won the “Spirit Of Excellence Award” for at least five consecutive years, and Meyers has won that award twice.
