Meyers earns G7® Master Qualification from Idealliance

MINNEAPOLIS, MN (March 1, 2018) — Meyers, a national leader in brand marketing and high-end commercial printing, announced today it has achieved G7® Master Qualification from Idealliance®, an international not-for-profit industry organization dedicated to guiding print production best practices, specifications, and standards. This is the 11th consecutive year Meyers has achieved G7 Master Qualification.

G7 establishes gray balance across all presses, assuring printers have a neutral foundation from which they can more easily balance color output. Achieving G7 Master Qualification allows printers to remove subjective judgments from discussions of color, meaning presses will produce a similar visual experience regardless of the press, print process, or substrate used.

With approximately 1,500 G7 Master-qualified printers worldwide, the recognition is a way to identify print partners who go the extra mile to assure color print output is predictable and consistent.

“Branding is more important than ever in the current retail market, and it’s essential our clients are confident their materials will look the way they should every time, regardless of the presses used to produce them,” said Mike Lane, CEO, Meyers. “G7 Master Qualification helps reduce set-up times and limits the need for reprints, while making it easier to communicate with clients, and to consistently meet their high standards.”

In order to achieve G7 Master Qualification, Meyers employed a G7 Expert to analyze its print processes and bring systems to a set specification that allows repeatable, predictable results. Meyers employees also underwent training. The final G7 Master Qualification validates that Meyers’ capabilities are at the highest level of global industry standards and specifications.

“We applaud Meyers for utilizing the G7 Master Program to assure consistency and quality in their proofing, brand color management, and print processes,” said Steve Bonoff for Idealliance. “G7 Master Qualification demonstrates a level of control and expertise that places Meyers at the top of their field.”
